Court Services provides a number of Evidence-Based Programs that are facilitated by trained staff who receive quarterly continuous quality improvement evaluations.
Moral Recognition Therapy
This program is for male and female participants (taught separately) and employs a systematic, cognitive - behavioral treatment strategy designed to develop higher states of moral reasoning. The program has 12 stages so the length of the program depends on how motivated the participant is to complete each stage.
This class is held once a week for 2 hours at no cost to the participant.
There is a $25 book fee.
This program is for female participants designed to help:
Identify criminal thinking
Develop healthy relationships
Learn problem-solving skills
Learn basic social skills
Stress reduction skills
It is 25 to 30 weeks at no costs. Classes are held once a week for 2.5 hours
Stop Abuse For Everyone (SAFE)
This program is for male and female participants (taught separately) designed to help:
Acknowledge past behavior
Identify use of violence and coercive control
Learn about personal accountability
The class is 26 weeks, held once a week for 2 hours. The Court may order a fee for this class in diversion cases.
This program is for male and female participants (separate groups) that gives a systematic, cognitive-behavioral, treatment strategy designed to develop insight and coping skills for those with anger issues.
The program has 12 stages so the length of the program depends on how motivated the participant is to complete each stages. The costs of the program is $25 for the workbook and classes are held once a week for two hours.
