Voter Registration Office
The Voter Registration Office oversees the administration of all elections, candidate filings and campaign finance. The Voter Registration Office, along with the County Commissioners, manages all polling place assignments and maintains all precinct information.

Early Voting Schedule and Locations
The office of Jefferson County Elections and Voter Registration located in the County Courthouse, Madison, (Room 206) will be open for in person/early voting as follows:
- Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 through Friday, May 29th, 2020 - 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday, May 30th, 2020 - 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Monday, June 1st, 2020 - 8:00am – 12:00pm (NOON)
Satellite Voting will take place the following days:
May 26th Jefferson County Public Safety Center (620 Green Rd, Madison) - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
May 27th Hanover Park (200 Spruce Lane, Hanover) - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
May 28th Jefferson County Public Safety Center (620 Green Rd, Madison) - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Re: Information for the Upcoming Election
Anyone interested in checking their voter registration status can go to www.indianavoters.in.gov. The site allows a person to register to vote, check voting status, find your polling location, and view who’s on the ballot.
The site has a drop down option that allows a voter to select democrat or republican to find which candidate is on the ballot. You can also find information on what identification you will need on Election Day. Simply, enter your information to find your polling location or voting status, and then look for the hyperlink "What Do I Need to Vote at the Polls".
