Re: Primary Election Party Affiliation

The Jefferson County Voter Registration Office has received several phone calls regarding party affiliation. An Indiana registered voter is not registered to vote as a Republican or Democrat. All registered voters have the option to pull a Democrat or Republican ballot in the Primary Election no matter what was voted in previous elections.

If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please contact the Voter Registration Office at 812-265-8926. For the Clerk's Office, please call 812-265-8922
