Are you a Jefferson County resident with slow internet speed or no internet at all? The State of Indiana wants to help you! The Indiana Broadband Office (IBO), in partnership the Office of Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) has launched a campaign called The WiFi Project.
The WiFi Project aims to advertise and educate the public on options that are available for everyday citizens. How it works is simple. We want every citizen with connection speeds less than 25 Mbps download and 3Mbps upload to visit the website, confirm their connectivity speed, and submit their address to the portal. Once this process is complete, a team from the state works to see what resources, providers, and options may be available to help service certain areas.
