Home Detention guidelines are set by statue under 35-38-2.5-6 which states that participants are confined to his/her home at all times except when the participant is:
Attending educational institution or a program approved for the participant by the Court
Attending a regularly scheduled religious service at a place of worship
Participating in community service
Undergoing
Counseling
Medical treatment
Mental health treatment
Psychiatric treatment
Other treatment programs approved by the Court
Unemployed and seeking employment (the participant is allowed to do this 3 times per week in 4 hour intervals)
Working at employment approved by the Court or traveling to or from employment
Participants on Home Detention do receive earned good time credit according to statute.
