The Voter Registration Office oversees the administration of all elections, candidate filings and campaign finance. The Voter Registration Office, along with the County Commissioners, manages all polling place assignments and maintains all precinct information.

Re: Information for the 2018 Election

Anyone interested in checking their voter registration status can go to www.indianavoters.in.gov. The site allows a person to register to vote, check voting status, find your polling location, and view who's on the 2018 ballot.

The site has a drop down option that allows a voter to select democrat or republican to find which candidate is on the ballot. You can also find information on what identification you will need on Election Day. Simply, enter your information to find your polling location or voting status, and then look for the hyperlink "What Do I Need to Vote at the Polls".

Re: Anderson Polling Location


The Jefferson County Election Board was notified that due to construction, Anderson School could not be used for the primary and general elections in 2018. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) located at 3100 N. Michigan Rd. will now be the polling location for precincts 4-1, 4-1A, and 4-2. Cards were placed in the mail today, March 6, 2018 for all voters affected by this change.
